Aufgebaut hat sich Zipp diesen Ruf durch die Fokussierung auf die vier Kernqualitäten eines perfekten Laufrades: Aerodynamik, Steifigkeit, Haltbarkeit und Gewicht. Je nach Einsatzwunsch zieht Zipp eine Spezialwaffe aus dem Köcher: Für Zeitfahren und Ironman-Distanzen, winklige Bergabfahrten, Gravel-Abenteuer sowie steile Trail-Abfahrten. Um den optimalen Qualitätsmix zu generieren, mussten Experten unzählige Stunden in Windkanälen, Material-Laboren und natürlich auf der Straße und im Gelände verbringen.
